A delegation from Monaco’s SICCFIN participated fully in the Egmont Group Working Group meetings held in Mauritius from January 27 to 30, 2020.
The delegation actively participated in the various meetings and workshops and in particular in a working meeting of the Cercle des CRF francophones du Groupe Egmont, whose next meeting will be held in the Principality of Monaco on May 28 and 29, 2020.
Mr Michel Hunault, Director of SICCFIN, was designated “coordinator” of the French-speaking financial investigating units. The role of the international Egmont Group is to combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism.
