The Passion Sea flag, a symbol promoting respect and preservation of the seas and oceans, was raised in Monaco’s harbour on Saturday night, August 3, on Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou’s boat “Fly me to the moon.”
As a philanthropist who is very involved in the support of animals facing extinction through his own Foundation, Sir Stelios said he is delighted to support this initiative for boat owners.
Preserving the waters from overfishing and pollution are the goals of the campaign started this summer by Helga Piaget, CEO of Passion Sea. Keeping the marine environment healthy and in balance is vital for all living species and ourselves, Helga said.
