“The casino that loves you celebrates the sweetness of life,” the SBM publicity machine shouted, promoting a Dolce Vita extravaganza on Saturday, July 6.
In the event, the models, Vespas and crooners succeeded admirably in recreating the magic of the fifties at the Casino Café de Paris, and knowing that SBM always puts on a show to beat all expectations, 4,000 guests turned up, some especially invited earlier in the evening as members of the My Monte-Carlo loyalty scheme, others the ‘grand public,’ welcomed after 10 o’clock at night.
The Director of the Café, Rudy Tarditi said: “It’s the players themselves who call the venue a warm space, an event synonymous with fun and entertainment. At the Café de Paris Casino, the staff maintain strong ties with the clientele, which is mostly loyal. Every day, the evidence is compelling: generous winnings, sweets and drinks served at slot machines, free parking … So much evidence to justify our moto: “the Casino that loves you.”
Every 10 minutes from midnight until 02:00 a 500-euro jackpot was won on the slot machines, reinforcing the SBM’s thank you message to its loyal clientele. Such was the success of the evening, everyone came away winners.
