In the presence of HSH the Sovereign Prince, Serge Telle, Minister of State, and other leading figures of the Principality, Patrice Cellario, Minister of the Interior, has been awarded the insignia of Officer of the Legion of Honour by HE Marine Carné de Trecesson, Ambassador of France to the Principality.
Patrice Cellario joined the Monegasque administration in 1982 and held the position of Technical Director of Stade Louis II. He continued his career in the Public Works Department, of which he became director in 1992, then at the Directorate of the Environment, Urban Planning and Construction.
From 2009 to 2015 he served as Director General of the Department of the Interior. By Sovereign Order No. 5.253 of March 26, 2015, he was appointed Government Minister of the Interior, the first Monegasque to occupy this position.
Together with the Sovereign Prince, Her Excellency Marine Carné de Trecesson, Ambassador of France to the Principality, Patrice Cellario, Minister of the Interior, and Serge Telle, Minister of State.
